Can you help me with my workout plan?

For 4 1/2 months now, 5 days a week I’ve been doing bicep curls, push-ups, crunches, and other abdominal exercises for a total of a 20 minute workout and drink a protein shake after. No cardio (I’m already skinny and want to build muscle).

I’m 16, 5 foot 9 and weigh 120 lbs. I do my workouts at home, but if needed I can buy more equipment at the store. My abs are starting to show more and my biceps are getting a little bigger. However, I feel I need to intensify my workout.

Do I need a better workout plan and what should I add to my exercises?

Boy are you messed up.If you want to build mass you have to eat more than you are .Balanced and high sources of quality proteins several times a day.You must do progressive resistive exercises, and as a beginner you should doing exercises that incorporate multiple large muscle movements.Squats, bench press, shoulder press, and varied grip chins or pull downs.Your program should vary as your body adapts and acclimates to eliminate staleness thus creating muscle confusion and growth. You should also allow your muscles to recover between workouts,48 to 72 hours.
