Spandex Shorts
Why do people wear spandex shorts?
Okay, so people on my cheering team wear spandex shorts underneath their regular shorts. Why is that ?
To answer your question Joyous, I am a flyer.
Reply to Joyous: You have to be constantly pulling up in the stunt. I suggest that you balance check before hitting your skill. If you dont know what that means. Go up with your foot dangling then, when you feel balanced hit your skill (lib, scale, scorp, heel stretch, etc.) GOOD LUCK!
most cheerleading teams wear short shorts or soffe’s to practice. so if youre doing a jump the soffes seem to cover up only a little teeny bit of you so the spandex shorts keep you covered when youre in doubt of showing too much! Also when youre cheering a lot (not to be nasty) but it keeps things firm and stops any wetness from coming on. hope i helped. have fun cheering! and one question, are you a base or flyer?
Reply: I am a flyer too! we had a bad team last year but we are actually doing the real sport this year because we have a new coach so we just started stunting. I was wondering if you have any tips on balancing especially on stunts with only one leg, like a liberty.
